what would I need to do to make a fully functional scoop on the hood
I was thinking a WAI and then finding the right scoop for the hood and bringing it to the body shop to havea hole cut in the hood then install the scoop and paint it?

its isnt hard.
1) find the hood scoop you like
2) fit it and cut the hole on the hood
3) use thin sheet metal on the bottom to to redirect the air to your air intake
4) make sure you go in an inclination form, so that the water drains toward the front on the car.
5) put in drainage holes (just little cuts on the front and rear of the sheet metal
The only reason people dont do this is because it is expensive. a lot of custom fabrication. But make sure the hood scoop is molded into the hood. if not, it looks cheap.
for a idea of how the bottom of the hood should look, go to www.pfyc.com and look at the SD hood. if you need more pics let me know. I have the SD hood and i can take some pics of it for ya.
