Wondering if i should put Spring Coil Clamps on my car for a cheap way of lowering...I cant afford the "Right" way to lower a car...so im wondering how much of a risk it is to throw these on my car...i heard they can give a much more bumpy ride..but how bad does it hurt the springs??? Anyone have em installed?? and has advice??? Thanks!

this is another one of those "will a 3800 fit in my car" type of theads where theres one answer.
dont to it, period. if you dont have the money, then dont mod your car.

Save your money for lowering springs or go stock height, not worth it to rig something so important in your car.

Eibachs are not nearly as expensive as damage resulting from a snapped spring.
Wait until you have the funds to do it correctly... you or the car wont die at the stock height...

Well... define "easy"
I know for certain that you'll definately need a spring compressor to remove the fronts (you can rent them). As far as the back, I cannot say since I'm not certain what the 04's used in the rear. I know the rears are stupidly simple to remove in the GM Delta Platform, but thats about it.

Also remember that you'll need an alignment when finished, and possible camber bolt kit for adjustment. Your struts aren't that old, but it is also wise to change them at the same time as the springs. I tried to do lowering springs the cheap way too... and it wasn't nearly as cheap as I thought, and struts came back to haunt me later cause I didn't change them.

They will withstand the abuse of lowering springs a tad better.
haven't heard anything good about coil over stuff. Coil overs and spring clamps aren't the same thing .
