ok, i wanted to know how i can replace the rear drums on my se for disk brakes instead. is it a simple process or does it involve a lot of work? what is needed and about how much will it cost? the old drums are shot anyways and they look bad too.

Yes you can. There's already a how-to thread somewhere on one of the forums. I'd imagine it wouldn't be that bad. Probably replacing the rear hubs with the drums.

seriously takes 30 - 45 minutes a side. go to napa for the parking brake cables, best price i was able to find.
And while your at it, throw some stainless brake lines on there too

I've got the rear conversion for sale here: http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90140
$100 plus shipping
you just need to add the brake lines and ebrake cable. The rotors should be turned or replaced as well because of the surface rust. brakes are too important to use certain parts used, that is why I don't have the brake lines and ebrake cables for it.
I priced out all the other necessary parts at a local auto parts store:
ebrake cables -$33 for the rear two
new rotors -$50 for both
new pads -$25 for both lifetime warrenty
new rear brake hoses -$20 for both.
grand total -$128
That is everything needed besides what is included and is if the rotors can't be turned
PM me an address or a zip code and I can get you a shipping quote. It took me about 45 min to get both sides off of the GT.

just the rear ones, unless you get the stainless lines, then its recommended to do the fronts as well.
