So I wanna put one on my 2001 Grand am....
They don't make these for Grand am's, but they do for Sun bird's.
What will fit in my car? Do these make my car louder? or just better gas mileage?

Loud intake manifold noise, yes.

Better fuel economy, no
Cooler air = denser air = more oxygen. More oxygen:more fuel

He's asking about a WAI, so wouldn't it be warmer air = less oxygen = less fuel?

AEM makes nice intakes but honestly they are overpriced and this is coming from someone who owns one, buy some cheap piping off ebay then buy an AEM filter

They also tend to be CARB approved for use on the streets of California. Those ebay pieces aren't legal for use in California. They're tested, they're warrantied, etc.

I'd go w/ ebay piping too.

Where can you get "ebay piping" do I just type in "grand am intake" on ebay and get one of those, or what is the best way to search for it?

True if you are in CA I'd pay extra and go with AEM just b/c its CARB approved, pretty much no other state cares

Well considering the first letter in CARB is for California, I'd tend to agree.
