View Full Version : Exterior, side decals

I've been thinking a little while that I might want to get a set and put it on my car but I'm not sure what I wanna choose or what would look good. Any opinions. Feel free to post any pictures of examples if you can find them. I appreciate the help.

I think you should do some inlays on the sides and an arrow head inlay might look cool, they help your car stand out form the crowd. I have some pics of my car but its a GT so I can't do the side inlays but it might give you some idea. My pic are listed in the GA of the week section for last week.

Pretty nice. I'm looking into maybe something that goes from top to bottom across the side.

I have the exact same car (except mine is a 96) and I have been trying to decide what color inlays and stuff to buy, right now I am thinking about a red and black color scheme, but I don't like the idea of the reflective black showing up as "off-white". So I can't decide between white, which would look better at night, and black, which would look better during the day. I did just order the 3rd brake light overlay though from CustomGrandAm.com, and as soon as I decide what color I want Ill be ordering like $50 more from them

Also, looking at this (http://gmp.homeip.net/photopost/data/6834P1010040.JPG) picture I would recommend putting the stock air intake tube and the lower half of the airbox back in your car, then set your filter in the lower half of the airbox, that way the intake tube will blow cold air over your filter, reducing the air temperature going to your engine.

Anyone have some new opinions for me? Obviously the fender stripes would go if I got the full side vinyl.

just do a photo shop of it. What ive been doing to see what looks good on my car.

If I were gonna do that I'd have to shade it perfectly to the car to copensate for the side ribs and thats the thing that makes me wonder how it will look the most.
