Yup... Pic #3 shows the Dexcool sitting on top of the #2 Intake Valve
(actually stayed there overnite, meaning Valves are good )
All other Valves and LIM Gaskets seem to be ok.... looks like a Cracked Head on Cylinder#2
1 wk... should have her back up and running... $$$$$$$$$$$
:???::mad:

I've found the fel-pro kit for around $150.00 and i know a girl that works in the parts dept at local dealership who can get me the revised gm kit for $115.00..... is the fel-pro kit worth the extra $35.00

Well considering the revised kit from GM is on revison #3 Id go with the Felpro kit.
That sucks for sure about your car. At least you didnt completely destroy the engine. You should of parked it when you noticed the coolant going no where. Thats a dead giveaway of a LIM failure.
