If I were to get the S&S headers, Borla Exhaust and a CAI what type of HP gain would I be looking at?

I'm going to just blindly guess that it will be between 5 and 10.

I would guess 11+, let me know if I win

Are we playing closest without going over? :D

Borla only uses 2.25 (stock size) inch piping so whatever gain you are going to get from the headers will be negated by the restriction in the rest of your exhaust. Get yourself a custom mandrel bent 2.5 inch exhuast and a flowmaster or magnaflow muffler if you want to take advantage of the headers. Not to mention it will cost you about $400-500 less for a custom exhaust and it will sound better too.

Now I've been debating on weather or not to get a turbo kit once one is produced. I wouldn't need the headers right? And as for the exhaust I know I'll need to increase that to 2.5 for the turbo.

well there no turbo "kits" made for the 3400. if you were to go turbo though, dont buy the headers because you will have to custom make the manifolds anyway. as for hp gains though with out the turbo, id say about 15-20 whp. another good mod to consider is a 62 mm tb. i dynoed at 163 with only a cai and a 65 mm tb. so id figure 10- 15 whp just with the 2 mods. the tb is one of the biggest choking points for the engine.

edit: the 163 was with the tune as well but i dont know if that actully does anything hp wise.

Each guess adds 5 hp. By page 10 that mod is gonna add 300 hp!!

Milzy is developing a kit but its still been a year and all weve heard is that its 'still in development'. Im sure its going to get released eventually but he wants pre-orders to help offset the cost of production and in his store it is listed at $4000.

So, OP if you can wait for a while and have 4 large lying around then keep hanging on to it.

I talked to Milzy acouple months ago about the turbo kit. I have the money right now but I want to wait and see what the test results bring and I wanna see some better pics. I also heard MP Racing is thinking of developing a kit also.

Is this what I would need if I wanted to go with 2.5" flowmaster?

What shops do mandrel bends. I heard that not all shops can do that.

MPRacing sells mandrel bends that you can buy and have a shop use to weld to straight sections of 2.5" pipe. Just make sure if you dont buy the straight pipe from Mark that the shop is using stainless.

And it should be cheaper to buy the straight lengths from the shop instead of online, I bought 10 feet of stainless for like $75 when it was more than that without shipping for 7 feet from MPR. Not saying it's a scam or anything, I just like a better deal.

I was told that I'll need 4' of straight pipe, 1 u-j bend, 3 90* bends with 6" legs. Can anybody confirm this.

If you need 4' then get 5', I used about 9' of tubing with the SLP overaxle pipe and the straight tubing being used for bends. And you'll want extra piping if you plan on making your own downpipe.
