Need New Muffler

So my car NEEDS a new muffler all together. I know the best most obvious choice is the flow 80 series. The only problem is i dont have the money for the new piping right now. so my question is should i get the muffler put it on the stock pipes for now and then eventually get the new piping? How would it sound with stock pipes until i get then 2.5s? Thanks in advance for any help solutions or better suggestions

If you don't have any extra mods to compliment the exhaust and are just looking for a sound difference, just change out the muffler. The increased diameter piping won't do much for a stock car performance wise.

x2 just buy the muffler. i did, but soon will be doing a full catback exhuast.
