hello everyone.. i have a question guided toward all the GA gods out there....
can i do a 3800 series motor in a 87 3.0 grand am SE???
if so anyone no what i need or if it would even work....
would it be a bolt in process???

Could be done, but your talking considerable custom fabrication. I've heard of them going into later gens, but you'd probably be breaking ground. I hope you do it though, the 3.8 is good motor.

Just that - mounts, half-shafts, computer, etc.
Not to mention tranny, linkages, suspension & brake mods. Bigger heavier engine, more power. Needs tougher trnny and stiffer suspension and stronger brakes.

I've heard that a supercharged 3800 will fit in a 1999+ GA with next to no modifaction is this true or wha?
