HO head on my LO

Has anyone on here performed a HO head swap onto a LO block? what parts are needed? will just the head gain the 30 hp diff. between the HO and the LO? any help would be greatly appreciated

I suggest a search on LO to HO. I'm sure you get hits in here and the 2.3 area... Nah the 3 character min... Might be a FAQ? Perouse the 2.3 area... I'm wading thru hits on head... I think we lost the FAQ that was in the Quad section.. I'm foggy but I'm thinking it's more cams and ECU changes. What's the casting # on your head?

where can i find this casting number??? see....i have a brand new motor, but i want to put a HO head and a 5 speed tranny in my 88....i think it would make a high 14 second car
