Yes , the plate is crooked b/c its attached via duct tape.
And now, a word about the lights . The HID's cut through the fog right in parts where halogens would have been toast .

Next on the list is silverstars for the fog lights .

*Edit:I would have aimed the lights tonight, but the fog killed that plan.

is the HID Kit hard to install? like is there a lot of wiring or is it just a plug in?

argh the glare, man your going to BLIND every one thats on coming or that your behind. do EVERY one a favour and get PROPER HID progectors. meaning they use a D2R or D2S bulb not rebased bulbs.

OK kids, heres my short how-to to my setup :D

The short answer: Hope you got a splice kit, electrical tape, and some relays plus a knowledgeable friend.

Here's what I did.I purchased the HID kit off ebay for $145 shipped(note:don't shop by price, check the feedback carefully if you buy on ebay),and the kit I bought was a hi-low type with a HID low beam and a halogen high wired into a connector for the 9007 harness our GA's use .

Now,here's where things get complicated. Your HID kit will either be the type above or low-beam only, but it should package this :

2 HID bulbs
2 ballasts( large metal boxes connected to the bulbs)
and a relay kit.
My kit came with everything except the relay kit.Since my kit was high/low, it was designed to draw power from the battery to run the ballast, which in turn runs the HID's
Problem is you need the relays to do this :banghead:.

So I called 98Alti ,and me,him, and a voltmeter spent quality time the next day :
A) isolating the negative,
B)isolating the positive,
C) and cutting and splicing the negative and positive wires to the ballast.

After an afternoon of trial and error, we got the lights to work. Then the left bulb blew out 3 days later .

So dont do this mod unless your comfortable with cutting wires and messing with electical wiring. If the thought of splicing wires leaves you puzzed, stop right now. No HID kit is just plug and go,youll need to do some wiring to get 'em working.

I did it the 'wrong' way, by wiring my power to the ballasts through the factory wiring harness, whereas the right way would be to use relays. Which the kit convienently didnt have .

If I had to start all over again, I would by the 9007 low beam only kit, break out two relays (or buy a relay kit separately), and buy spare HID bulbs.

Any questions ?

Heres an idea, get out of there way if you don't like it.

That was a fun day i blame Pontiac for the odd electrical system for our lights but otherwise just a quick switch of the wires solved the problem, luckly for me my HID kit was plug and play since i have the aftermarket projectors with seperate high beams.
