Summer Polishing...Pics inside

had a couple things planned for today. Changed the oil, put some Royal Purple in it, gonna polish the tips as best i could, and paint the calipers red. well turned out i did all but paint the calipers because of how they turned out when took the wire brush to them. check out the pics and lemme know what ya think. New headlights are coming shortly and will have pics up when they come in.

looking nice dude im trying to find the factory rims you got for my car.

for the tips, i just took some steel wool to them, and the wire brush on the drill and then polished them up with some Flitz.

I wish i had some before and after pics of the calipers...there is a huge difference. I was gonna paint them red, but my dad and i are looking at them after i took the wire brush to them. and decided to go with that.

i agree, I think the calipers look great as is, I don't think its needed to paint them really unless you really really want to lol but yea the improvements look great! good job :)

i didnt paint the calipers. all i did was clean them. thats what the calipers look like when theyre clean.

looks nice and sparkly. too bad they will stay like that for probably 3 days if its a DD. i would have put some clear on them to keep em to where u can just brush em off when dirty. but hell, looks good. nice job man!

haha well its been 14 days on the calipers and they look like the pictures i have in this thread. so...you be the judge, and yes its a DD.

If anything I would put some coats of clear on them so that the brake dust could come off easier but I dont know how that would stand up to the heat.
