Just wondering, did they make a GT model in Champagne Beige Metallic? in th model years 1999-2005? i know they make SE's as i have one, and i wanted to see if they made GT models in that same color.
thanks

in 99 they made a gold gt. it was the only year and is one rare color to get. not the same as yours but still is gold.

I cant remember the gold on Grand Ams official name but it wasnt champange color but more of a serious gold color.
Google Sport Gold Metallic for a pic of the rare color on 1998 Camaro's and Trans Am's.

ive seen maybe 2 or 3 others but they were all 4 cylinders! could i possible have the only V6 Champagne Beige Metallic GA??? i very highly doubt it but its a fun thought :3
honestly i would absolutely love to do a GT conversion (possibly even SC/T) on my car and have a one of a kind GA!

that'd be sweet! even the GT would look killer, but the SC/T would look even more killer. I highly doubt you have the only V6 one though, if it was im sure someone would know about it.

ive been looking into all the neccessary GT things including:
front bumper
rear bumper
side door panels
ram air conversion
rear disc conversion
ram air hood (sc/t)
aero spoiler (sc/t)
sc/t body kit
anything that im missing? is there any way to convert the gauge cluster to a GT's? does it all hook up to the same harness? should a GT cluster plug right in and work fine?

I think that covers everything. you don't necessarily NEED the wing, hood, ram air, or the disc conversion. some GT's don't have the sct wing or hood.

thats in case i go for the SC/T conversion. but all GT's have rear disc brakes plus i hate the way my wheels look with drums :/

Dont bother with the ram air conversion. Not worth the money.
Youll also need to get the fender liners from a GT too.
Oh yea, considering you have a beige car I can bet it used to be a rental. Give me the VIN and I can do a carfax for ya.

why would it being beige make it a rental?

It was the #1 seller for rental car and fleet sales. Apparently it was the cheapest color to spray.

i saw a GT same color as yours the other day. unfourtunetly it was probably someones work car/beater cause it was someone who works for the county fixing our road. not in the greatest shape since he probably only bought it for work.

Dont know if his paint is custom or not, but there are plenty of Gold GTs on this site of that color. Personally I really like it in Gold myself. Saw one the other day that look great.

i like it but it just seems like it would be too hard to match things to it, like i dont know if new headlights would look good, or what, but the rims do look nice
