97 GA paint

Hey is there anyone here that has had their ride repainted cause I'm just looking for a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost...any help would be great:D

w/ paint jobs u get what you pay for... I had my 96 grand am repainted and it cost $920

It also depends on if you're keeping the original color or changing it, if you change it be prepared for the price to double.

I think I was quoted $1300 for just the front.....(after Katrina, the debris truck F'd up my front end)

The price vary from place to place. Call around for estimates. A small independant shop will give you a better price in the winter if they can use it for fill in work.

yeah I'm expecting a fairly high price....any of you guys know where I can find a good body kit? I'll have to repaint the front and back bumper covers anyways, and the side skirts are shot, I was just gonna get new stock ones but the GT style but I don't know what kind of side trim they have it it is the same as the SE or not..Yeah I'm getting an estimate done tomorrow so we'll see how it goes and I'll let you guys know

I have been quoted at $1500 each time I wanted to get my car done by two different, independent guys. That is just a simple do-over. Nothing else

wow! the guys at the shop got back to me early...they said it'd cost about $1500 too ...kinda something I can't afford right now, but should get done
