i was trying to search for power to hook up some LED's to because my cig lighter is messed up. anyways i went searching in behind the HVAC knobs figuring i could make the leds dim:
FIRST MISTAKE: i cut the biggest red 'wire' there, when i did, air came out
what i did: wraped it with electrical tape.
SECOND MISTAKE: i cut the red wire that comes from the top group of wires hoping the lights there would turn off. but no.
what i did: put a wire screw on it and called it good.
the only thing i can do is change how fast the air comes out.
WHATS WRONG PLEASE HELP :???::(

Why doesn't the cif lighter work, if it doesnt work it should just be a fuse. Always test with a multimeter for good connections before just cutting crap. Good luck fixing it though.

that wasn't a wire you cut. It was one of the vacuume lines for the HVAC system. Without a good seal around where you cut that line you won't get proper vaccume to change your settings on where the air is comming out at. Not sure how to fix those lines but that's my guess as to what happened.

if i wraped it tightly, can it work right again?

it should work. as long as there isn't a way for the vaccum to leak out it should work just like new

ok, well i was driving the car today, everything worked well.
i guess the hose i cut needed to get its pressure back.
thanks for the help but wow what a close call

Eventually the electrical tape will leak... it will come back to haunt you. I would at least use a piece of aquarium tubing + silicone to patch the break instead of just tape.
And stop arbitrarily cutting things... those mistakes will get expensive. Get a factory service manual (helminc.com) or all-data (alldatadiy.com) if you need to ID specific wires.
