I have replaced twice now the bumper trim, black, and it always seperated around the rounding of the rear bumper. It peakes from the material it is adheared to and is frustrating for me. Is there any way GM has countered from the origional piece? What should be done to prevent this again?:(

I have never had any problems. I assume you are talking about the black molding that runs around the car. Is it the original molding, or has it been replaced at some point?

This is the second GM moulding that has done the same thing. The dealership has removed and replaced the rear bumper to apply these strips. It is getting costly and I hope to find a more solid application. There seems to be a sponge or foam under the vinyl strip that is not holding around the rear bumper contour. Any help? Thanks.:(
