if I removed the trim pannels of the sides of my 02 GA se1 it looks like it will have a single indentation running down the body. is it bad to take those off? I wanted a cleaner look. :D
I was hopping to get this, not the bumpers, but I wanted it to look like the side of this 03 gt (Bumpers will come later)

Thats a SE not a GT, but yes if you remove the ribs yours will look like that. With a small hole on either front fender.

right, yeah I noticed the holes, I will probably get a plastic plug type thing from a hard wear store to plug em up.
cool thanks

Almost bumped this thread like a week ago for the same reason. I know if you look on the inside of the doors, you can see two holes where it came through to be secured, dunno how many more there are though

the metal pins im talking about are like little nubs- 2 rows of about 6 a piece down the sides... im assuming you have to cut- sand - repaint in order to get rid of them. or do they make a cover piece for them?

no cover piece, the only way to get rid of them is just like you said... cut, sand smooth, maybe a little bondo to smooth the indentations left, then primer and paint.... too much work IMHO just to get rid of those on a car thats 13 years old. If you want a different side look, look into a body kit (as fugly as all of them are for GA's)
