Installing SC/T Hood

Hey, I'm thinking of ordering a pre-Painted SC/T Hood but i was wondering how hard it'll be to install? It looks pretty simple, just a simple unscrew the old hood bolts and put on the new?

any ideas?

Yeah thats about it. Your going to need 2 people to install the hood. It needs to be bolted on and then aligned correctly

I've seen that hood on ebay. Does anyone know if those are fiberglass or metal? Also are the hoods from PFYC.com fiberglass or metal? The reason I ask is one buddy of mine ordered a hood off ebay that was fiberglass and it didn't come close to fitting. I would like to avoid that. I'm thinking about getting one in a few months and just wanted to get peoples thoughts

Fiberglass for both. I know the fiberglass hoods sometimes have to be trimmed, I think Katie's had to get a corner trimmed and I believe hers was from RK Sport.

Hmm.... after reading that story maybe I wont get that Hood after all.

I live in a small town with no actual Bodyshop so its really hard to find a place to paint the hood, so i was looking at an online source... but i guess not lol

any thoughts on a carbon fiber hood?

RK Sport has cheap hoods on eBay once in a while, returns that they can't sell as new. Their user name is rksport269
