a while ago my uncles gave it to me as a way to get out of buying me a present c/ they werent using it.

but i was wondering what to use with it, wether cleaner & glaze, or a liquid wax or what. and im glad its not one that will have a chance to burn paint c/ a previos owner scarred the underneath of my spoiler, but then again i see other things like DONT buy a stupid orbital and so on.

and also, with doing the wax and what not, do i do like a section (it tells me to split it into 3 sections) and do 1 section, chage pad, remove the wax, then change again and do 2nd, so on? or do the whole car, then go back and remove. dont wanna run out of time and have the wax bake on the paint. thx

You'll never burn the paint with one of those they rotate too slow they're basically a "polishing for dummies" buffer. Never apply wax in the sun always find shade. I take one body panel at a time and do it in 1'x1' sections, I only change the pad if you're doing multiple steps like compound then polish

so basically but liquid wax, but a bit on the pad, do a 1 foot by 1 foot section, let it haze, and using the same pad go back over it till its off? and do i go in circles or straight lines back and forth, or straight one direction? haha im such a nooblet at this. thats why i bought the wax-as-you-dry crap a while ago. worked ok, but just didnt have time recently for a while, so im going to take some time and do this. am i right / wrong about what i stated, and anything else i should know? thanks alot greg!

You're supposed to change pads to take the wax off, just like hand waxing, you want to use a clean cloth. I've seen most people go in straight lines back and forth, since the pad is spinning you don't have to.

I don't use the orbital to buff off the polish I just do it by hand if you use the right polish it comes off with ease. You want a microfiber towel for buffing though so it won't scratch the surface, they're a little expensive but worth it
