ram air hood

ok, ive had my car for a week now and ive been looking everywhere evryday for the other ram air hood, the one with two slots. im sure my termonology is off, and theres a specific name for this hood. i live in new york so if anyone has any suggestions on how to get my hands on this hood it would be greatly appreciated:thanks:

rksport269 on eBay sells RK Sport hoods that were returned or had the orders cancelled. They're the only ones I would buy from on eBay.

and most are not cheap either. Unless you find a used one from a member on here, your gonna spend at least 450-500 unpainted.

RK sometimes has them on eBay for about $450. I'd avoid anything cheaper unless it's used.

i work at a GM dealership here in calgary and my cost on it is $1400 unpainted!

That's why nobody buys them from the dealer. Not quite in a 16 year old's normal price range to get a 2003+ car when they normally run about 8-10K.

it originally had the hood i want on it, but for some reason someone switched it (i can see the tone difference in the paint)

2000s didn't have it as an option, it was an 03+ GA thing, the SC/T package. The car may have gotten a crunched hood at one point or it's just a difference in fading.
