I originally went to buy a dark blue, Ram air, automatic Trans Am when I bought my car this Jan. None could be found anywhere. I could finally afford one and now I couldn't get one. Well it turned out good after all because I have always liked the Grand Am, and I plan to mod it out. As a coincidence the car was made on my birthday, so given that it was the more practical choice, it was meant to be. Now that I have seen the GTO in person, I will stay in the Pontiac family for my next purchase of a GXP version of the GTO. I planned on trading the GA and moving upscale to a CTS-v, in it's second full model year because I never buy first year cars, but that black GTO is plain nasty and I want it! Go to the Pontiac homepage and check out the exhaust note! It sounds better than the exhaust on a TA or a Mustang. Since I need a sedan for occasional multiple passengers, my 2k3 "Black Beauty" will have another family member in the garage when the GXP version comes out. The new Grand Prix is nice but unless it's in GXP form it doesn't look as good as a current GAGT or the new G6.

Currently there are no CTS-V (V series) Cadillac's avaliable... Not yet. ;)

CTS-V is the first model to be developed by the new General Motors Performance Division, an in-house center designed to explore potential enthusiast-oriented versions of production models.

Production is slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2003.

Like the original CTS, CTS-V was refined and validated at Germany’s famed Nürburgring to meet the expectations of the world’s most avid driving enthusiasts.

Equipped with a 5.7 liter (LS6), V-8 engine expected to produce 400 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque, CTS-V marks Cadillac’s entrance into the high performance luxury car market.

The CTS-V represents the best of what Cadillac has to offer in terms of luxury performance. Much more than just a powerful engine, CTS-V is equipped with a standard six-speed manual transmission, large performance brakes at all four corners, 18-inch wheels and tires, retuned shock absorbers and steering for the performance chassis changes and a host of interior and exterior styling refinements.

Well everyone has their own seperate opinions I do love the way the grand am gt looks I liked the former SE's before the ribs were gone. But I must say the GP is very appealing to me. And 260 hp in the GTP is enough to get me in way too much trouble but im 20

i have a question artic_gagt. im just curious how in the world you are 23 and can afford a Z06. do you have rich parents or do you have a hellacious job? im not saying it isn't possible, i know a junior in high school that has a H2 with about $10000 worth of car audio/theater. im 20, have a decent paying job, and i could only afford a trans am for 6 months before i had to sell it. tell me your secret
