Has anyone done this? (Engine swap question)

1995 GA SE with a 2.3 liter Quad 4.. Swap the engine and tranny for a 3400 V-6.. I know some of the SE's in 95 came out with the 3100 engine..

This is what my wife and I are thinking about doing.. The 2.3 just wont make the power we are looking for (even with all the performance upgrades on the market) compaired to the 3400 V-6..


Just wondering if anyone has done this yet?
And what all would be involved, like:

Motor mount relocation
What kinda Tranny (We would like to leave it an Automatic)
Current CV joints work, or need new ones
ect..

Sorry about all the stupid question.. Not quite use to the FWD, computer controlled cars.. Still in the stone age with the ol' school V-8 engines..

But seriously, yes, it can be done and has been done. You will need the computer and harness from the donor car, and probably the transmission as well. A 3100 might be an easier swap though.
