I was wondering, the previous owner of my GA decided to put some sort of weird buttony things on the seatbelts held on with what looked like chewing gum to keep the clip from falling to the floor. I'm assuming the stock thingers either wore off, fell off, or this guy was a big fan of Wrigley's.

Either way, think I could just pop these bad Larrys out and replace them? The gummy crap is all worked into the weave and the belts are stained from... I really don't want to know what... and looking pretty fugly.

There's supposed to be a plastic button. When mine broke, I drilled, tapped, and put a small screw through it.

Yeah, the button is supposed to be on there. It just sounds like yours came unglued.

It isn't too hard to change out the seat belts... they're just bolted in.

what year vehicle are you doing this too? make sure to check that you're not changing the air bag sensors. if so, the sdm will need to be re-calibrated.
