How Much Horsepower?

How Much Horsepower do you guys think this engine can put out using stock internals? And how much boost can it take? Right now im running 10 psi but i want about 15.

dunno dude, ive never had the engine apart. But i think you could do 200 and be safe. How did you get 10 PSI out of your turbo? What didja do to get it to go higher?

The stock turbo will make 18 psi from what i hear and on stock internals i wouldent try to push it to much cause if you think the motor with out the turbo is 95 hp and with it is 165 im thinking its almost maxed out for stock.

I am soon sending my car in (2 weeks) or so to have motor totaly rebuild its gonna cost me 2400 (canadain) and the shop guy said on 6 psi it should make 200 hp or verry close and can handle 12 psi constantly with no probs and 18 psi for a short perioid of time

When i do get car back and have broken in the motor ill have dyno tests done and post it and ill get a list of parts put on the motor and list it as well.

I will also in future be gettig a electronic boost controlerwith two settings and a digital boost guage. so i know exactly how much boost im running.

how much is that in american money? it cost me 1800 to rebuild mine with a 12 month 12k mile warrenty.
i wonder how i can get the car to run 12psi? the computer on mine wont let me go above 10psi, if i do the check engine light goes on and it starts cutting the fuel off.

I was wondering how you got your computer to run the system at 10 PSI? Is it a chip or a reader? Id love to get some more boost out of my car. Im starting to race people out of my league and need the power to stay on top.

the cheapest way to get more boost is to slightly bleed off the air on the vacume line to the wastgate. you can buy one for fifty bucks on up but if you go to the pet store you can get a valve for a fish tank cheap. be carefull, make small ajustments. and run 93 octane

its roughly 1625 american to do the work im doing and im getting a electronic boost controler to up the boost on my car .

electronic boost controler is the way to go...i just dont have the money to drop on it. let me know if its working well for you. and what kind you get.

the plane is to put the car in before august 4 but im still waiting on some money to roll in should be soon and ill have the boost electronic boost contrroler shortly after i get the car back and everything is working fine. ill kepp you posted.
