Allstate and an accident story.

So I was driving to work one day, some exhaust pipe flew under the tires of the car in front of me and that threw it right into my windshield. Not some aftermarket exhaust, some old junk like from some redneck rustang or camero. But anyway....

That pipe took out my entire windshield, scratched hood, and broke some moldings and antenna and some other minor stuff. Now my ga is at some body shop waiting for repairs.

I've heard there is a number I can call for some government office which would have to pay for the damages because they were caused due to highway not being cleaned?

Thanks for any help. For now I'll be driving a rental. Nissan Sentra sick ass 82 lol.
