here's my '89 GMC 1/2 ton, its gonna need some body work, but I can handle it

first thing to go, is the cap, being replaced by a Gaylords hard tonneau, then rimz and lowering, and tinted windows and new paint, and then some dress up stuff

naw, I need to replace the ball joints and do another couple repairs before I can sell it, so I'm gonna hold on to it for a little while, she'll be taken off the road and the ins. transferred to the GMC

my thought is, its a 2 wheel drive, it takes too much work to lift one (unless I get the Fabtech kit...Uber expensive), and nobody has lowriders around here, so I thought it would look good lowered with an escalade front clip

Lower it! Stick with some classy rims, like the TorqThrust II's, though. No gawdy 20's please.

now you've got taste, I was thinking the same thing 17" Torq Thrust's, now I've just got to get the dang thing, State Farm is trying to screw us over with the house ins and we're gonna switch everything insured over to another company, so I have to wait until then to get it
