DOHC 3.4 engine

does anyone know if Pontiac made a DOHC 3.4 for the grand am gt
if so what is it specs

Not for the GA they made one for earlier GP's but I dont know the specs I've heard theyre a maintenance nightmare and arent worth the cost of a swap.

the older style monte carlos/ luminas had the option of the 3.4 dohc and it was 215 hp. gm should've been smarter when they made our engines and given us that engine only modified a bit different.

a buddy of mine has a 92 gp with dohc 3.4l , i will say this, balls to the walls speed, whoops my a$$ racing at any speed but hes had to put a new engine in and it breaks down every other week, so if you can have one has a second car there great for racing but be glad that you got what we got and not that cause it is unreliable as hell.... but fun to drive... hehe
