would the supercharger off the grand prix gtp fit my engine? i have the 3.4 and if so how much modification would it need? i want to supercharge my car but dont want to spend the 1000's on buying one so i figured if i could go to a junkyard and get one off a gtp id do that.
also would the 3.4 DOHC engine that gm used to make for the older style monte carlos/ luminas bolt in with much modification?

I will take the swing with the blower question ....
Yes and no. Yes, you can bolt on the 3800 GTP blower. No, it won't be a cake job. You don't want to spend the dollars on a pre-fab kit, but with all the custom fab you will need to do, you are going to be right there anyways on the money. You will need the upper and lower intake manifold assemblies, custom ECU, tranny work, minor nuts and bolts, etc.
The people you need to talk to are the ones that did the original work on the 3800's for GM. Give Magnusson Performance a shout and get their two cents. These guys are the gurus when you are talking about an Eaton blower. If you are looking at the custom arena, I would get in touch with Kenne-Bell, Whipple, or Opcon/AutoRotor for a Lysholm style blower.

For the DOHC motors, I don't know if there is a swap potential there. Again, another project that can certainly be done, but you get right back into the money issue again with all the custom fab work.
Have fun.

thanx, i know about the money issue but me and 2 buddies of mine are going to be doing this since they did their own engine swap with a Del Sol. and my one buddy works in a machine shop so im set with having all my engine work done, such as porting, rods, pistons etc. im just trying to find out my options right now. i know its going to cost some money but when i have connections its a bit cheaper.
ill definately look into the info u gave me. thanx again.
