Paint ideas

My 97 is starting to have paint come off, right behind the doors down on the (rocker panel?) bottom. Its a 2 door, and its straight black. I dont really feel like repainting the whole thing, so i was thinking about doing everything below the trim a different colour. Anyone tried it and have pics??:drunk:

I think I'd repaint below the trim in black, so you'll have a clean slate & go from there. Another color from the molding on down would make your car look like an 80's wannabe. Just my opinion.

my ga is real dark green with black and silver ADR demonyas, i was thinkin instead of paintin my whole car ide paint it black from the bottom of the front wheels(the back of the front fenders). and have it flow up and back to the bottom of the tinted windows to the trunk..ehhh, it looks cool in my head..hood-black.roof.black. front bumper.black.little bit of the door would be black. so it would look cool with the tint...wadda ya think?

Sounds good. If I ever get the time to work on my own car for once I'd like to go black on top in a similar fashion w/ some form of red stripe seperating the silver (my car is silver) & black.

Can't beat Silver! It's a good accent color for black!
