1HOT SE - 04 Grand Am SE Custom

Please consider my ride of pic of the week

This is my 04 Grand Am SE. I have many pics so there will be multiple postings.
Licence plate: 1HOT SE is a play on words describing the car as a hot/ nice car and "hot" as the car has a flame / fire theme. Flames: On the Scoops - Silver flames on SC/T (fiberglass) hood, Silver flame pinstripe, Flame licence plate chrome frames, "Pontiac" flame windshield decal flame seat belt pads, and rear flame mud flaps.
When I bought it it was "plane Jane" and every one else has a GT, but I customized it to be as nice as any other GT's or even nicer w/ GT muffler and stainless Exhaust tips. Enjoy.
I Love my GA
If you are wondering what light that is in the grille, it is a Knight Rider Scanner light bar.
Also disconnected DRL's and hardwired angel eye fog lights, super white bulbs for front signals in clear corner black head light units and chrome LED tails

#3 old hood w/ stick on scoops that I use 4 winter. stock bumper w/ custom grille inserts (flush w/ bumper not just a screen behind) winter rimz from Pontiac Montanna. And misc pics... break in w/ a hit and run in fender

Unfortunately this is the only car I have and I need to drive it in winter. That is why I have to swtich the bumper for clearance, hood (fiberglass - so it won't crack) and rimz that have summer tires

Oh my.

If you're claiming it's "1 HOTSE" then why do you have a GTR badge on the trunk?

I suggest changing your license plate to read "1HOTGTR"....or even easier would be to ditch the badge.

...and at least 4 lights from up front...mudflaps...seatcovers...

I was always a fan of Knight Rider, although not the new series. Do you have a video of the light bar, or the scanner as it was known in the show.

Too much is clashing. Never was a fan of that bumper, a GT-R badge? Really? And this is just because of my OCD, why do you take all your pics with the cam vertical? The GA's clean, but not my flavor.

on this car I would say that GT tails would look better IMO, maybe tint these? Like otheres said there is a lot going on when you look at the car. And the one big thing is the flames, sure they look cool but it can be perceived in the wrong way. Flames are usually meant as a symbol for hatred or wanting to destroy something. Im guessing thats not what you think of your GA.

I have no clue where you guys see a GTR badge. I like it but there are somethings that is killing the car. the mudflaps, and the badges. I think it would look better if you debadge the car. and the aftermarket front bumper with the rest stock kit I dont like but besides that not to bad.

Tighten up the leather seat covers. They look really cheap when they get all bunched up like that.

Overall, looks good. A few things look cheap/uneeded but overall good.

I hate to say, but it kind of looks like a Pep Boys shopping spree... there's way too much going on for my tastes.
