Crankshaft Position Sensor

Does anyone out there know how big the magnet is in the bottom of the crank shaft position sensor that mounts in the side of the block of a 3.1 motor. The end of mine went into the motor and I can turn the motor around all the way. I am now hoping that I can do a engine flush and then if it don't come out it should end up by the screen and should not cause any problems.
