HO intake mod

has anyone attepmted or know how or where to do this or have any information on it. i seen pics of it on another site. it looks quit interesting. they must have done it on the ga hos for a reason right? so why not on a 2.4?

Sure you could do it. The j-bodys are doing it with some success. You can run into some problems with the throttle cable but I suggest going with the 2.3L tb along with the manifold.

that's what they were talking about. but i've already put my money into a 62mm tb. so i would like to keep it.

well i did get the ho intake manifold and the cam cover. looks sweet. so we'll see how the install goes for the next few days. anyone know of anyone that has done this on their ga?

Cant say that I have. Make sure to compare a 2.4 throttle cable to the 2.3, I think the Quads is longer. Keep us informed, I commend your "drive" to find more POWER!

i have done the ho manafold swap

I HAVE DONE THE HO MANAFOLD SWAP ON MY 2.4

if anybody has any questions on the ho manafold swap just email me or message me.

I only have one problem with my swap.does anybody have a 2.3 93 grand am throttle cable bracket that mount onto the throttle body?

please email me if you do and also how much you want for it.

yeah i do have a? what in the hell am i supposed to do about the egr valve? no one around seems to have pics of what they had to do with theirs.

you can order a plate to cover the EGR hole just goto the nearest GM dealer and order the EGR plate off a 2000 and up 2.4 cavalier the part number is

part #: 24575505 description: F-CVR-EGR price: about $3.76
plus tax
