2. is there any tricks to make it faster?
3. is there a chip you can get for the ECU?
4. any thing else i should know about?
5. has anyone tried to make their's intercooled?

reason for asking i entered a 100 lap endurance race and i want this grand am to rip by V8's haha

Boost Pressure

The ECM will shut bown and throw a code @ 13lbs of boost I have found a couple of places the sell chip for them they run arround 170 bucks and give you about 20 extra hp or so they say. On my car so far I have added larger injectors. put a intercooler on her a Msd Ing. and a true cold air ram to the intake she did run pretty good till I put the new motor in her but now I have electrial probs to adress

What bar is the Map sensor? if its like the TGP< it has a 1 bar map that only goes to 15 lbs of boost then its blind, so ucould edit the chip to run up to that, but i belive the T-25 chokes completly at 15 PSI and is most efficent at 12-13 PSI

Mine pretty much hauls ass all over the place. It is a 1 bar MAP and the wimpy stock T2 is useless over 14psi. A brief rundown of the few mods I've done:

T25 from a Nissan CA18DET (currently at 8psi)
Clevite 77 main/rod bearings
Speedpro pistons
VIN H cylinder head (D shaped combustion chambers) at 8.8:1
ported/polished intake/exhaust on head
ported runners on intake manifold (Head port matched)
Fiero 2.8 V6 throttle body
23lb injectors (stock injectors from 2.3 quad 4 grand am)
MSD Blaster coil
Accel 10.8mm race wires
New (reman) distributor (helped alot)
Starion Intercooler
Oil cooler
Trans cooler
S-T 1.7" drop springs all around
S-T Shocks/Struts
Energy suspension poly bushings - all front suspension bushings
Front Strut bar (modified Sunbird bar)
Steering knuckles from a 93+ Grand Am
Larger slotted/cross-drilled rotors to fit later knuckles
new calipers
ceramic pads
Vibe GT 16" wheels
Nexen 215/45-16
Fiero GT steering wheel

Next upgrades later this month:
Lucas injectors (still 23lb)
Walbro 190lph fuel pump

no, iv even looked, the 2.0 in the Turbo sunbirds and Turbo grand ams have a T25, it just has a smaller A/R than the TGP ones, but its a T25 water cooled, the very first Turbo sunbirds had an air cooled T2

Turbo grand ams had the T25, not the T2, the only T2s were on the 1.8L sunbirds that had an Aircooled Turbo and sucked major ass
