Anybody up for some coffee or weed wacking?

This is what your APC muffler will produce, better not have a body kit with those mufflers

Thats very strange to buy a car that you hate, then modd it to look like a peice of shit and sound like a bumble bee farting in a tin can.

And then some to a domestic forum and ask how to slaughter their car.

And that whole thing about muscle cars? Are you kidding. Who would but underglow on something so beautiful? How about superchargers for real good mods? Oh wait you couldn't care less how fast yours goes, as long as people laugh at you on your way by.

I'm perplexed and can't fathum your reasoning. I hopefully never will.

Domestic or bust.

But really, if you want something that looks more like an import then just buy one. I am sure you can find a civic or something else you could destroy with useless mods, rather then your LGO powered GAGT. (makes me sick that someone like you owns a grand am and will give the rest of us a bad rap b/c of your foulishness)
The key word here is LGO; THIS is what really gets me pissed. I could care less if it was the LD9; a 3100, or even my L40! But a hard to find motor (impossible by me); leave it internally stock, then get a kit with the theory to look like a Honduh piece; bolt on a retarded (ooooooh! Carbon Fiber! m4d fuk1n tyt3 y0s!) wing; then get a fart cannon as is (no pipe increase) and feel proud about it?

We gave you our "honest" opinion (want a better one? Say this to Q4F; watch the flak)

**** it how much you want for it? Want an even trade? 56,000 miles

Seriously, if you dont like the status of your car, the looks of it, just sell and get something that conforms to the status quo that you are wanting to fit into.

you probably want the sound of a VTEc which I am pretty sure a grand am will never sound like b/c a VTEC has what like an 8,000 rpm redline compared to our 6000 and the engine is built different, but if your really want to grab some ricer sound so people will make fun of you buy a muffler a pep boys, weld it on and take off your exhaust resonator behind that catalytic convertor, that should do the trick that no one here would want.

Side note: Guys "fart cans" are not realy that bad, must people think my car is a V6, its also magnaflow, not apc, this will probably piss people off but a fart can does not seem any dumber to me then catback dual exhaust.

I will admit the cars with "fart cans" tend to be gayer then those with dauls, but they dont have to be, it is just what its applied to, you can fill in the rest, although i will say anything with daul mufflers at the end are gay, one is enough. anyways hopefully that comment will not outrage anyone too bad

VTEC has nothing to do with the ability of a motor to rev. VTEC is overrated.

I'll make sure to let my girlfriend know that you think the SLP exhaust system on her GTP is "gay".

I personally pulled the SLP system off my car, then added an eBay dual tip muffler with the stock piping. I noticed that the resonance was gone and that low rpm power was up, yeah it is slower, but I still get good sound without being ricy. On that note...If you want to rice your car, do so, but it would be better to just drive it and sell the car at a later time to a board member who would be interested in the car as is. Then buy a Honda, Toyota, Nissan or whatever gets your pecker hard and modify it, thats what they are there for. Don't get me started on drift wings and neon kits...mopowr79

unfortunately the ones that you feel that were bashing you actually gave you the info you needed to get that sound. Not hating on you or anything but coming to a domestic site and asking to get the "import sound" is just asking for what happened. This site has a lot of great people but most are against that sound so they try to sway your decision towards what they think is best for the domestics. Im against the import sound just because it gets annoying and is just so common it doesn't get anyones attention anymore. Im for performance so Im geared more towards the throatier deep sound, even tho I have a 4banger,its still possible to get a deep mellow sound.

Getting a APC muffler and getting rid of your resonator is most likely going to give you the sound you want but if you really want attention and actual performance, don't go that route, you'll get tired of it REALLY quick, trust me,I had a "fart cannon" for my very first muffler and realized it was just lame to have on a domestic
