The car was bought new in 2001. It spun a rod bearing. I built the motor, it went nitrous and I boogy woogied at illegal street races. A bad oil change by a local oil change place and i spun another rod bearing. A crank and set of rods later, I ended up boosting it. It originally was a setup that had a T3/T4. The car was like this for about 5-8 months before HPTuners released software for the 4 cylinder guys. So all I had was the GM reflash, big ass injectors and an Apex'i S-AFC to tune. It was so so but still made 300hp. After HPTuners came out, I blew the T3/T4 and swapped to a GT3076R calibrated my injectors properly, ditched the S-AFC. And what you see is what you got. I can't really say how long it took, because it is simply just a continuously evolving piece of machinery. I've had to think things through on this car since a lot of the stuff has been one-off, custom, or a rethinking of what other people have done, and at times a combination of both.

Probably because there aren't an abundance of 12 sec GA's anywhere. Just about everything else = been done before.

Find a replacement yet? You should keep the engine at least find a datsun 510 and throw it in that...now that is original no one would think to put a GM 4 banger in a dime lol
